Micromanaging the bulking period is one of the stepping stones to more lean muscle retention during the shredding period coming afterwards. The next stage of training is the strength phase. Strength is simply all the work you put into your workout in relation to the weight you’re working with, bulking vs shredding, bulking cutting cycle length.
